Spelling Rules for Irregular Verbs
Verbs that end with a vowel other than an “e” and words ending in “sh”, “ch”, “s”, “x” and “z”, you add “es”. For example, I watch becomes He watches. Also, I go becomes He goes. If the verb ends in a consonant plus a “y”. you then change the “y” to an “i”. For example, I carry becomes He carries.
